Wow so much horror squeezed into such succinct and poetic pieces! ❤️🔥

All three of these are amazing!! My fave was Stay Patient. I re-read the final line with a full grin 🙌🏽

Terrifying tales indeed, especially cul-de-sac. Felt like a really good episode of Doctor Who.

Yes, cul-de-sac feels like an episode of the Twilight Zone (high praise indeed). The next day all of the husbands are mowing the grass at the same time wearing the same clothes. And all the wives show up at the newcomers home with the same tuna casserole. That's the real horror. Nicely done.

The cul-de-sac definitely feeds into my fear of suburbia and justify my hate of HOAs. You packed so much in just a few sentences I'm a little sad that there isn't more.

Given that I live in an HOA community, the horror is real.

That last one is like that weird balance of photojournalists — like, where’s the line between attention and exploitation? I know House of Leaves discusses that a bit

OMG, don’t even get me started on House of Leaves. I am currently stalled around page 400.

I took my time reading it. I think I read one or two other books during my read through of HoL 🤣

These stories are chilling and captivating! Each one has a unique twist that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Can’t wait to see what other eerie tales you come up with!

I saw him as an artist who sold images of roadside memorials

I thought so. The lawyer was a joke about similar jobs...

It does kinda make sense, though.
