doppelgangers are so fascinating. i especially love the way they're depicted in twin peaks, and i guess just generally the concept of "tuplas," which is very close to doppelgangers. also the horror concept of twinning and twins is a good place to look to, most obviously the twin girls in the shining but also cronenberg's dead ringers and if you want to get really dark, mengele's experiments. this was a great piece tho, thanks so much for writing

I totally love The Outsider. It is one of my 2-3 favorite king books. Fantastic book and a great movie adaptation.
