Why Am I Doing This Now?

Since the inception of social media, I was always something of a reluctant participant. As much as I railed against it, I realized that it was the way to connect and stay in touch, so I adapted. When my first novel was published back in 2019, social media became to go to way of marketing, but 6 years later, the whole things seems to have stalled and become much more impersonal than it once was. I felt it was time for a change.

Allow Me To Explain Further

After cranking out 16 novels and novellas, as well as a few short stories, over a 5-6 year period, I burned out and fell out of love with writing. The bigger issue, though, was that my anxiety and depression issues were worsening, without me noticing how far I was falling. A few months back, I began having routine panic attacks and reached a point where I thought I was dying. It all came to a head with a trip to the ER, which resulted in my finding a new doctor and getting back on meds. The good news is that I am mostly in good health physically, but I have been taking steps to lose weight and work on the things that needed to be tweaked.

A Brand New Me

My desire to write is back in a big way. I have been doing flash fiction prompts all through the month of October, all of which I will share here over the next few days. I am also planning to write a serial novel(la), which I was planning on putting on another site, but which I think I will share here, too.

What Can You Expect If You Subscribe?

Honestly, I am not entirely sure just yet, but I do know that I will not have a paid subscription for now. If I can figure out something of value, then that might change. For now, this is an opportunity to get to know me and my work a little better. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will answer ASAP.
