This is an uncomfortable post to write, but it’s also one that is a little necessary at this current time. After working hard to build a decent little following and regular sales, I hit a 2–3-year period where my mental health did me in. With momentum gone, I removed all my books from Amazon and decided to try and rebuild on my own.
The good news is that I have a large collection of books to sell in my own shop. The downside is that with zero money coming in from those books, rebranding and adding new covers and such is making it a slow process. Rather than just asking for your help, I am trying to offer some sort of reward for your investment. With that in mind, I have a pair of deals to share.
First off, I have just finished my second collection of drabbles (100 in all). That eBook is now up in my store for $1.50, but I have combined it in a bundle with the first book in this collection for the same price. This will likely be a limited offer for the month of April. I have zero goals with this other than moving a few copies and getting some money for a logo for my upcoming Nightlight Stories YA horror book. I want this to be an ongoing series, which means covers, which means money I don’t currently have. You can grab the 2-for-1 deal below:
Another great way to support all of this is via an annual subscription. I have that set at the lowest amount Substack will allow, which is $30. With that, you will get a bunch of subscribers only posts every month, a free copy of every eBook I create, minus this current one, as well as a Macabre Mail package, which I will go into more detail about in an upcoming post.
These types of messages are absolute torture for me, but I also understand that to build my business and make it worthwhile, I need sales. I will always go out of my way to provide as much value as possible in return for your support.
Thank you to all of you that have taken the time to read my work, subscribe, and buy my bits and pieces. You have all made me feel like I have made the right decision and am on the correct path.

Bought and restacked. Being an indie author is very expensive. Good luck!
I feel you with all of this. I've spent the last year learning Canva to be able to make my own covers/logos/marketing materials to try and save money. I'll definitely buy a copy of your drabble bundle once I get paid. I can't afford an annual sub but I'll help where I can:)
