Comic Book Drabble - Magnetic Hill
Based on a blend of locations and legends
I have been to Magnetic Hill in Moncton, Canada, and it is definitely a weird illusion. There is another one in the States somewhere with the whole train legend, but I can’t remember where. The comic strip is at the bottom. Enjoy.
Dave out the truck in neutral at the base of the incline and waited. When the vehicle began to roll forward, he knew it was an optical illusion, nothing more.
The legend of Magnetic Hill told of a driver killed by a speeding train on the crossing. It said that the dead man pulled others to an untimely death when they parked close to the now unused tracks.
The truck rolled to a stop on the tracks, but before Dave could put the car in gear, a whistle blew and a phantom train tore through, leaving him intact but dead.

Awesome!
Were you thinking of the Ghost Tracks in San Antonio, Texas? It's pretty famous for this type of activity too. I love the comic!! Very cool.
