Deadly Drabble - The Appointment

What I am thinking about ahead of my annual physical

Her hands were cold and rough as they pressed against my belly. She moved deliberately, testing several different spots before stopping to focus on one in particular.

Laid out on the table, it was tough to see her, but I managed to catch the frown on her face. She pressed down harder, making me hiss in pain. I screamed when she broke the skin and reached inside.

I could feel something move, trying to escape, but the doctor grabbed it and pulled it free. The worm squirmed and gnashed before the life slipped out of it. The doctor simply smiled.
