I enjoyed your story. Every city friend that I had, when they would come over to spend the night, just knew there were aliens in the woods. After awhile I started telling them it was big foot.😂🤣😂
The “Curious George” callback was so creepy. I loved how something completely harmless from the beginning became unsettling once the creature knew it too-and then came back again at the end. Really effective horror.
This was a great horror story. Your main character is so silly for going out to the woods in the end haha. But the build up, dread, and details of the creature were incredible.
You had me at “branch-like appendages”. So creepy!

LOL
Can I nope?
So good. But now I can't look at Curious George again.
LOL. Absolutely.

You're welcome ✨
Hey John,
This was a great horror story. Your main character is so silly for going out to the woods in the end haha. But the build up, dread, and details of the creature were incredible.
Thank you for writing this!
Thank you for reading
The image is terrifying as is the story!! I live in a very rural area, things are different out in the country 👀
Nightmare fuel!🙌
I know where that came from…

That is cool, but this one came from a Midjourney prompt.
Ya, it’s a regeneration… not the first time either
This was the prompt I used…”a pale spindly creature caught on trail cam in the forest at night”
Well written. Scary.
Thank you
That was amazing, John! 😱 Creepy af and the ending was phenomenal! 🖤
Thank you
I don't normally read horror, but this is good.
Thank you
I hear it as a patronizing question, "Curious George?"
CREEPY!!!!! Nothing like a good creep-out before Friday breakfast. LOL! (Maybe I'll hold off 'til lunch, ha!)
