There are very many belief systems that account for the dreaming of activities with a loved one as meaning their presence (energy field, essence, etc.) is very much touching your own. What a lovely confirmation.
Oddly enough I was working on a butterfly illustration for my book today which is dedicated to a friend that passed. Whenever I see a butterfly in my garden I think of her.
