I want to follow and highlight your work!!
I have been active here for less than a week and I already find myself in a bit of a quandary in that I want to follow and subscribe to all of you. The level of work being put out here is fantastic, and I already find myself drifting into impostor syndrome territory. That aside, I do have an idea on how to spread the love a little, so allow me a moment to share.
Every month, around the 3rd of 4th, I am going to pick a random person to fully subscribe to for 1 month. The only stipulation is that it is $5, as I am a starving artist and do have a budget. I will consume all the goodies you put out over the course of that month before I move on to the next.
Once that month is over, I want to them wrote a post for here, as well as one for Medium, highlighting all the cool stuff the creator is doing. In the Medium post, should you choose to accept, I will also share links to your work.
Let me know if you think this is a good idea.
Love this idea. I don't have a paid subscription model on my Substack, but I would love another horror author's perspective on my work for a month. And more eyeballs on my work in general. :)
What a fun idea! That's a creative solution to support fellow authors and also keep a budget. 😂 I've run into the same challenge where there's so many excellent fiction writers here, and there's no way I can do a paid annual sub for all. I might steal this idea... 👌😎
