I love these stories. I particularly love Faceless. The ominous feeling the nightgown is really good! I love how you managed to scare us in such short stories.
Funhouse stuck with me. The idea that the cops are looking for a normal explanation while the reader already knows something is wrong creates a really uncomfortable feeling. Was that one inspired by carnival horror at all?
That's really interesting. I think that explains why the stories feel more like glimpses into a nightmare than traditionally plotted pieces. Funhouse especially stuck with me because it felt like there was a much larger horror hiding just outside the frame.
Really enjoyed these, particularly ‘All Seeing Eye’. Very happy to see some Bermuda Triangle representation, I do feel it’s absence in modern pulp-inspired fiction
Loved the Funhouse especially, but all three are great work of art! 😁
Thank you

Man I especially love All Seeing Eye. I'm a sucker for that Lovecraftian Eldritch goodness. Calling the keeper "hungry" was a really nice touch.

I just look at the images and start to write, often with no idea where it is going to go.

Many of these drabbles stick with me and serve as fodder for longer pieces. It’s a fun wee exercise.
Funhouse has to be my favourite!

I agree. We need a full story.
Love these and the pics that inspired them
Thank you
The Funhouse - my favorite!
Thank you. Seems to be the popular one.
I love these.
