When I worked in healthcare many years ago, it was commonly known amongst the workers that residents about to pass would often be visited by spectral loved ones. Sort of the flip side to what you talk about. Creepy both ways!

That feels somehow comforting.

Another awesome newsletter! Yeah the to tongueless lady sounds terrifying! Those crisis apparitions are so spooky! I don't know if you've ever listened to Jim Harold's Campfire podcast (you'd love it), but it's all listeners calling in with different kinds of paranormal stories and those crisis apparitions pop up every now and then. It's wild!

Adding that to my YT deep dive list.

I really enjoyed this edition of the Paranormal Digest. It was fun to read and it kept my curiosity from beginning to the end. I like how it talks about different paranormal topics like strange stories, legends, and short scary moments. It makes the whole piece feel fresh and interesting.

The writing style also feels simple and friendly, like someone sharing mysterious stories with excitement. I especially liked the short eerie parts because they leave a little mystery that makes me think more about them.

Overall, it was an entertaining read for me. It reminded me how interesting paranormal stories can be, and it made me curious to read the next edition.

Thank you. I always try and write those in a conversational tone, as though I was sitting across from you telling you about each thing.

And it truly comes across that way. When I read it, it really feels like I’m sitting across from you listening to you share the stories, which makes it even more enjoyable to read. That conversational tone makes everything feel natural and easy to connect with. I really appreciate that style because it pulls me right into the experience. Keep doing it that way; it works beautifully.

I love Scotland so fucking much, even though I’ve never been. Your writing and the way you’re able to make me feel like I’m actually there is, the beauty in itself.

Wonder if the phi tai hong were the inspiration for the Monsters of Verity series, (Our Savage Song, Our Dark Duet) by VE Schwab?

There are so many different vengeful spirits from that region, so I imagine one of them might have been inspirational.

Was Glamis Castle the ancestral home of the Queen Mother?

Loved this digest! Looking forward to more.

I think it was her childhood home. Clarence House was where she lived in London, I believe.
