There’s something uniquely terrifying about the Hat Man because he doesn’t need to do anything. He just stands there—watching, waiting, existing at the edge of what you can see. That kind of horror gets under my skin far more than anything that jumps out at you.

Incredible🖤🖤

It’s definitely all rather unpleasant.

Isn't there an entity that if you write about them the more alive they become until they can appear in the real world?

As one who suffers from sleep paralysis I am very thankful I've never had him there. I'd cry when I got free. Ha. Now I'm paranoid.. as always. Thanks for those nuggets of horror.

I’ve not heard about that entity, but now I might need to deep dive it and see what it’s about.

I have a friend who suffers from sleep paralysis from time to time. She said it's completely horrifying! She's never mentioned a demon or the Hat Man holding her down though, thank goodness.

I get nightmares all the time. Is that a prerequisite for writing horror? Maybe I should give it a try. I always dream of insects.

It’s where a lot of my stuff comes from. You should try it.

This truly left me with very pimply goosebumps. I left you a lengthy post on your BMaC site.
