What's In Store For 2026?

It's going to be a busy year.

I initially wrote this for my Buy Me A Coffee page, but it also works for my Substack subscribers, too. I plan on being very busy in the New Year, and hopefully delivering enough to keep everyone that has supported me happy…

As the end of the year draws ever closer, I am ready to start getting busy to create a stacked member section here. If you have taken the time to support me, it’s important for me to ensure that you get value for money, so let’s talk about what you will see in both the free and membership pages.

The 8-Bit Horrors stories seem to be a hit, so those will continue at a rate of twice per month for members. New stories will be released on the 1st and 15, and there may also be bonus stories if an idea hits that doesn’t fall into my planned pieces. These will absolutely be members only.

Flash fiction pieces, which are usually in the 600–800-word range will be posted on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Members get all 3, while free followers will get the Friday story.

Daily drabbles will also become a regular feature, although I’m not yet sure whether I will post these daily or have them as a weekly digest. Drabbles are stories of 100 words and are often just small scenes that might end up as a longer story. I think it will be fun to see how a longer story emerges from a base idea.

I will also have a weekly newsletter that will land on Wednesday and go to both members and supporters. I want to make sure that supporters are seen, too, so if you buy an 8-Bit story or basically tip me for something else, I will make sure that you get some stuff.

I am also looking at doing a bi-weekly video, although this will be very much reliant on time, as they are a bit more work to put together.

My goal is to finish 3 novels in 2026, one of which is already underway. Members will get the chapters as I do them, while everyone will get the opening chapter of each as a bit of a tease. These will eventually become books that will land in my store. Members will, of course, get them at a deeply discounted rate.

That is all I can think of for now. By the end of 2026, I want to have a library of stuff that will take new members a lot of time to go through.
