2018 NaNoWriMo Winner
What better way to kick off this blog than to declare myself a winner. Yes, that sounds a little arrogant and is perhaps not the best way to present myself for the first time, but allow me a moment to explain...
Every November, writers across the globe sign up for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), with everyone promising to churn out a 50,000-word novel over the course of the next 30 days. Everyone begins with the best intentions, but time and pressure very often take over, causing many to drop out before reaching the winner's circle. The 2018 NaNoWrimo was not my first rodeo, but it was the first time where I finished and was declared a "WINNER."
My novel is called "Karaoke Night," and while I would love to get it out there right now, there is editing, as well as some story tweaking, to be done before that can happen. I am in the midst of taking care of that rather laborious editing process right now, a task that is far more horrific than any death scene I could commit to paper... MAYBE!!
My goal with this blog will be to keep you all updated on my progress with future works. It will also be where I deliver news and nuggets as they come along in regards "Karaoke Night." If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment or shoot me off an email. I'll do what I can to answer ASAP.
