A Dream Come True

It has been about a month and a half since I last updated this blog, for which I apologize. A lot has happened in that time, so let's get into all the details so we can get up to speed.
The first thing to report is that Karaoke Night officially made it to International Bestseller status, hitting #75 in the Amazon US horror charts and a rather unbelievable #6 in the UK. A ridiculous outpouring of supports from family, former neighbors, and high school friends in Scotland helped the book scale those heights.
I also had my first book signing event, and while I was incredibly nervous to begin with, I eventually settled in and had a great night. it certainly helped that the event was in our local brewery and that beer kept magically appearing at my table.
Finally, I have just completed a short story called "Alter Boys" for a Crazy Ink Anthology due in September. That collection of shorts will feature fictional accounts of real serial killers. I went with Jeffrey Dahmer and created a story that is more than a little unpleasant. It is now in the process of being edited by my publisher, with the release date for Infamy set for September 4.
That's about it for now. I will try to be a little more consistent with future posts.
