My Possessed by Passion Playlist
Whenever I write, I usually always have music playing in the background. It's usually some sort of mellow instrumental piece that plays. but I do have some music that serves as an inspiration for my words. For The Hollow-Eyed Girl, which is part of the Possessed By Passion Box Set, I chose 5 songs as the official playlist. Listed below are the songs and the reason why I chose them.
Hath No Form by Drab Majesty - This instrumental piece is what I would choose as the song that best fits everything I wrote. The track starts off as a nice little tune, but it soon begins to warp and glitch, turning into something else entirely. That is generally how my stories tend to go. Dead Trust by Hocico - There are some lyrics in here that relate in a little way to the story, but the main reason for this selection is that you never really know who to trust in the book. Eyes of a Stranger by The Payolas - While the book is not set in that time, I wanted something from the 80's. The main creeper in the story wears a hood, where only the eyes are ever on show. Listen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1C_fVnE3xHY
Never Surrender by Combichrist - The main character in this story is Kayleigh, who is named after my daughter. In the book, she is a bit of a stubborn hard-ass who will do whatever it takes to win the game. This is her song. Listen here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9J8ccza1OI
