It would appear that things move very quickly in the publishing word, or at least they do with my great publisher, Crazy Ink. After approving the final edits for Karaoke Night, the finished files were whisked off and paperback made available 2 days later. If you would like to get your hands on a copy of the paperback version, you can do so by clicking here. The eBook version is still set for June 20 and can be pre-ordered here.
Much of my time these days is spent marketing my book, but I will soon be back to writing again, as there is a lot to come in the next 18 months to 2 years. I thought it might be fun to break down exactly what you can expect to see, including the dates these stories should arrive:
Infamy - This is a short story anthology being put together by Crazy Ink. The stories contained within will be fictional takes on real life killers. I have a piece about Jeffrey Dahmer that is now almost complete. Expect to see this one in early September.
Crueller (Novella) - This odd little tale is part of a larger series of novellas being put together in a joint publishing effort between Crazy Ink and another. This is the "Donut Shop Series," and while most of the tales will be of the romantic variety, this one will not. Set for February, 2020 release.
Be Kind, Rewind (Novella) - I am looking to crank out some shorter pieces to try and build my library within Amazon, while hopefully getting my name out there. This is a story that has been bouncing around for a while in my head. I will see the light of day in August, 2020.
The Hollow-Eyed Girl - Just in time for Halloween 2020 comes my second full novel. I have this one pretty much fully fleshed-out, so writing it should be a breeze.
Bloody Mary (Novella) - This one will not be out until September, 2022. It will be a bit of a different take on the Bloody Mary legend, and will be part of the "Liquor Shop Series."
In between all of that, I am looking at co-writing a novel with a fellow author from Crazy Ink. The details are sketchy at the moment, although it looks like it might be an Egyptian mummy type of deal. I'll let you all know more about these projects, as well as any others that come up, when I have more news to share.
