There’s something to be said about knowing one’s self. If we were all able to change our faces, I’m curious if we would feel we know ourselves any better than we already do.

Perhaps if they decided to keep their old face, scars and all, they’d at least have a reminder of what they’ve lived through.

Such a cool premise that I haven’t seen explored since Face/Off.

Very cool. I could see a novella from the last one.

That could be a fun one to write.

I had to giggle just a little when it started off in the “log cabin.” My mind immediately went to all the horror movies that took place in the middle of nowhere in a log cabin. Let me ask you this, why do people think that a log cabin is the perfect scenario to a good scare? I’m asking this, cause I live in one. 😂

I love a log cabin and don’t really know why the cabin in the woods has become such a horror trope. It’s probably the sense of isolation and the often off the grid nature of things. If something goes wrong, you are on your own.

Ha John, first hand experience, this is very true!
