Flash Fiction Friday - The Happy Couple
Can you feel the love tonight?
The sight of her naked body almost took his breath away. He tried to control his breathing, not wanting to show her how nervous he was, but the way she was looking at him made it difficult. Those stunning eyes bore right through him, lustful and inviting.
He wanted to make this moment last, so he slowly examined every inch of her body. It was love at first sight, but now, seeing her laid bare, he felt that his heart might explode right out of his chest.
Her raven hair hung over her shoulders, stopping just atop her perfect breasts, nipples hard and ready to be teased with his tongue. He was sure that she was self-conscious about the scar running vertically between her breasts, but he thought it looked somehow beautiful on her alabaster skin.
He reached out and touched her, his fingers tracing her gooseflesh like a blind man reading braille. It told a story of love, lust, and desire, and he began to reach a point where he could wait no longer. He leaned over and kissed her, the touching of tongues sending a shiver through his body that felt like an electrical current.
He could see in her eyes that she was ready, so he quickly began to strip, never once breaking free of her longing gaze. Undressed and erect, he moved toward her, just as the phone began to ring. He wanted to ignore it, wanted to explore every part of his true love’s body, but the persistent ringing reminded him that it might be important.
Kissing her once more, he said, “Don’t you move, I’ll be right back.” Sprinting across the room, he snatched up the telephone and said, “City morgue, how can I help you?”

Talk about subverting expectations
This one gave me a giggle. Nicely done at the end, there.
